+love notes
Dear Black Man,
We entered a new year, a new decade. I thought change required a
brighter attitude and new traditions. It was only fitting to dedicate a
day in your honor. A day where you can enjoy yourself in a festive
and peaceful environment. A day where you can smile, laugh, relax
and bask in the after glow of love and accolades. A day in fellowship...
being a King among kings.
On Monday, January 19, 2020, we did that. A rebellious act of loving
each other and healing will change the narrative and the reality that
engulfs us all.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness;
only light can do that.
