The French Kitchen I n the new year, please add French cuisine to your dining experiences. Visit Baltimore's new restaurant The French Kitchen located at The new Lord Baltimore Hotel. The restaurant debuted in December 2013 to great reviews. Our party dined in a beautiful setting reminiscent of the French Renaissance. High ceilings, gold & royal blue decor, and mirrored walls-- an atmosphere channeling the Lord Baltimore's original 1928 charm. We experienced a delightful evening of traditional french cuisine created under the direction of Chef Jordan Miller. We tried an array of dishes including classics: french onion soup, Steak frites and Boeuf Bourguignon. I normally despise beets but surprisingly fell in love with Betteraves, the five way beet salad. The 85 yr old landmark, formerly a Radisson hotel, was bought in July 2013 by Rubell Hotels. The first phase of the hotel's renovations introduced The French Kitchen. The Lord Baltimore will be fully transformed by Spring 2014. The hotel is located in the city center near the intersection of Baltimore and Charles Street in the heart of Baltimore (at Baltimore & Hanover Street). It's three blocks from the Inner Harbor. Valet parking is offered, and several self-parking facilities are adjacent to the hotel. The French Kitchen is open for lunch Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m to 10 p.m. for dinner, as well as Sunday brunch. The Flywire 45
