This Fash- ion & Beauty Pavilion will introduce fes val a endees to new products and services that help maintain or create a New Look! From hair to makeup, this pavilion features industry leaders and newly emerging brands while spotlight- ing the newest trends for influen al retail buyers. BROWNGIRL VILLAGE (BGV) BGV, Sponsored by ShopRite, is an experience for young brown girls. This tent is comprised of photo sessions, charm classes, Brown Girl Entrepreneurs and more. This experience will also showcase hair care, e que e and fashion ps for our maturing young ladies. There will also be special celebrity guests and a teen make-up ar st on-site to assist the young ladies with a aining the look they desire. This is an exci ng experience that truly shows how Brown Girls ROCK!!! COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS Join the movement as we showcase the strength of communi es and the bond between people working together. This interac ve fes val partnership between Outward Bound and the Bal more Police Department engages a endees in team building ac vi es with police officers. The area will include obstacle course games and exercises designed to bring us closer together. CULTURE VILLAGE Experience a world of cultures from Africa to the Caribbean and beyond. Tantalize your senses with live music, delicious food, crea ve dance and unique cultural cra s! Genealogy and Ancestry Sessions connect a endees with their lineage. The Culture Village introduces a endees to the African Diaspora in a way that will make them excited to learn more about the different cultures that make us one. EMPOWERMENT TENT The Empowerment Tent is a focal point of this year's fes val. This experience includes panels and keynotes from some of the na ons leading voices on topics from rela onships and poli cs to entrepreneurship. Our invited guests include New York Times Best selling Author Zane, Dr. Jamal Harrison Bryant, Terrie Wil- liams, Kwame Jackson, Senator Catherine Pugh, Alfred Edmonds, Cyrene Tan- kard, R&B Diva Brave Williams, Media Mogul Armstrong Williams and more. 2016 AFRICAN AMERICAN
